Job Description

IKON Complete Inc. is a Recruitmentamp; Search Firm specializing in identifying,amp; sourcing top performers for our clientele. Our clients include industry-leading organizations who partner with us to be an extension of their HRamp; Recruitment function.Position: Industrial Electrician Location: 25 minutes North of Huntsville, ONSalary: $30 - $38 per hourIndustry: Manufacturing / Industrial / EngineeringEmployment Term: Full Time, 4 day 10-hour shiftRolesamp; Responsibilities:

  • Fix and set up electrical motors, generators, batteries, and control systems.
  • Maintain, repair, install, and test switchgear, transformers, meters, regulators, and reactors.
  • Install, replace, or fix wiring, cables, lighting, and other electrical parts.
  • Check electronic equipment for issues like continuity and voltage.
  • Interpret blueprints, diagrams, and electrical codes to plan the layout of industrial electrical systems.
  • Solve problems or troubleshoot, service, and repair industrial control systems, electrical equipment, and related devices such as PLCs.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and OHSA regulations to ensure safe performance of all tasks.
  • Additional related duties as needed.
Qualificationsamp; Experience:
  • Interprovincial red seal trade license as an Industrial Electrician (442A) or Construction Maintenance Electrician (309A).
  • Electrical knowledge in a wide variety of control and power.
  • Able to read and understand electrical schematics, blueprints, and machine drawings.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to report to 4-day 10-hour shifts.
