Job Description

McClay #39;s Transportation Ltd. is looking for an experienced Accounting Assistant to join our team in our Ingersoll office. We are seeking an Accounting Assistant with excellent computer and organizational skills. The Accounting Assistant will work closely with the Director of Finance, making sure all bills are paid in a timely manner and that all documentation is up-to-date and accurate. The ideal candidate will be detailed-orientated, resourceful and efficient with intermediate Excel skill and accounting knowledge. Responsibilities:

  • Preform clerical duties to support the Finance Team.
  • Prepare and maintain financial records.
  • Follow and apply accounting policies and procedures.
  • Enter the financial data into the company accounting system.
  • Be proficient in standard office software, including word processing, power point and spreadsheet programs (Excel).
  • They will also be responsible to preform other duties as required.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor #39;s degree in accounting or related field is an asset.
  • Some accounting, and general administrative office duties required.
  • Completion of a post-secondary program.
Wage/Compensation:
  • $18-$23 per hour (depending on experience)
