  • Supervise a team of hourly TMs whose responsibilities include the measurement of parts/bodies and the resolution of issues from supplier parts
  • Provide dimensional technical support to Maintenance and Production teams.
  • Organize containment/rework for quality spills caused by a supplier or the assembly plant
  • Work with other departments within the assembly plant to problem solve build or dimensional issues.
Responsibilities:
  • Work with hourly toolmakers on the shop floor and direct tooling adjustments as required.
  • Able to interact with hourly production team members and team leaders on issues related to dimensional quality.
  • Has good problem-solving skills.
  • Has good oral and written communication skills.
  • Be able to work one of three production shifts
  • Able to work with automotive suppliers to root cause incoming part quality issues.
Qualifications:
  • Diploma or Bachelors in Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of basic computer software packages such as Microsoft Office
  • As well as the ability to learn other computer software
Management Level:
  • Level 6
