Furnace Assistant/ Furnace Operator - Jobs in Inkerman, NB

What you will be doing:

Operate a fork-lift assigned to the furnace sector.
Occasionally operate a loader to accomplish furnace related tasks.
Assist in the reception of perlite, vermiculite and propane ores.
Fill bags of perlite, bring them to the piles and supply the mill with mixtures of these bags.
Clean the underside of the raw and finished product silos, as well as take care of the emptying and cleaning of the plant.
sift ore and handle the dropping tank and ore dust tank.
Participate in the reworking of the bags at the blending plant.
Transport ore from the shed to the silos.
Perform any other tasks that management may assign.

Experience you will need:

Familiar with the operation of motorized equipment, including a fork lift and loader in a production environment.
Has the ability to quickly acquire a working knowledge of furnaces and the mechanics of their operation.
Can work at heights of up to 60 feet +.
Is available to work a variety of shifts including twelve (12) hour shifts.
Is able to assist in the repair of existing equipment.
Recognize the importance of the furnace sector in the overall context of the Companys operations.
Must speak French.
