About the jobNorth American Lamb Company is looking for a Billing, Transportation, and Exports Specialist to join our Finance team. You will collaborate with multiple personnel to maintain and optimize the billing and shipping of our products.   • Customer invoicing function within the accounting department
  • Working with the sales team to ensure customers orders are entered in an accurate and timely manner
  • Update customer information, shipping routes, shipping dates etc.
  • Assist accounts receivable with credit card charges ensuring that the proper authorization is obtained using the prescribed procedures
  • Ensure all sales line items are correctly charged to the appropriate customer
  • Transportation logistics
  • Monitor Shipments, costs, timelines and productivity
  • Creates and communicates shipping schedules
  • Arrange load orders
  • Create accurate preparation of exports and imports documentation
  • Communicate with sales and CFIA personnel to obtain the proper documentation
What You Bring
  • Must possess a high level of moral judgment for handling confidential information and monetary transactions
  • Basic knowledge of general accounting systems and Internal controls activities
  • Intermediate level Excel skills (you can create/review basic formulas and create spreadsheets and make corrections when needed)
  • High level of attention to detail, analytical thinking, planning and prioritization skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
  • Positive attitude towards teamwork and team building
  • Previous experience in Billing/ Transportation or equivalent education or experience in transportation or administration
  • Highly motivated to take ownership of and continually improve processes
