Job Description

Located in quaint Innisfail AB, Sunset Manor is a supportive living residence committed to the compassionate and dignified care of its residents. We are currently accepting applications for a Housekeeper to join our team.Responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring the facility is cleaned to the standards set out in the housekeeping policy and procedure manual
  • Responsible for the daily cleaning of resident rooms including bed-making, linen, towel changing, and laundry when required
  • Reporting any safety issues to the housekeeping supervisor and responding to emergency situations with the proper procedures
Requirements:
  • Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel or facility environment (min 1 year preferred)
  • Able to lift 50+ pounds
  • Strong sense of teamwork and ability to work independently
  • Ability to deal empathically with seniors
  • A criminal record check (including a vulnerable sector check) will be required
  • Proof of Covid-19 vaccination is required to be considered.
