Job Description

Canada Lamb Processors, a division of the North American Lamb Company, is looking for a labourer in our White Offal Room. You will work in our white offal room consistently. This room focuses on cleaning lamb and mutton stomachs, intestines, feet, ears, and tails. The ideal candidate will be energetic, well-organized, self-motivated, and a team player.This position works Tuesday - Friday, 7:00am - 5:30pm.   • Cleaning: Stomachs, intestines, feet, ears, and tails.
  • Opperating machines
  • Handling chemicals
  • Boxing product
  • Using a knife
Production Floor
  • Transport inedible products to appropriate areas
  • Bagging lamb products
  • Boxing lamb products
  • Making combos
  • Making boxes
  • Palletizing
  • Strapper Operator
  • Other duties assigned by supervisor or manager
What You Bring
  • A strong stomach when dealing with fecal matter and strong odors
  • Ability to stand for an entire work shift
  • Strong safety conscience
  • A level of comfort working in an animal processing plant
  • Willing to work both Harvest and Fabrication Floor
  • Attention to detail
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Physically fit (able to lift 50 lbs)
  • Enjoy working on a team
Nice To Have
  • Previous experience working in a meat processing plant or Offal Room
  • Butcher experience
