Job Description

Canada Lamb Processors, a division of North American Lamb Company, is an equal opportunity employer, built on honesty, integrity, pride, our people, and community. We are currently hiring for a Meat Cutter. This position works Tuesday - Friday 7:00am - 5:30pm. Shift end times may vary.While working with Canada Lamb Processors, you will enjoy many benefits including:

Harvest Floor
  • Skinning lamb carcasses
  • Skinning lamb heads
  • Hide pulling
  • Gut table operation
  • Trimming contamination off of lamb carcasses
  • Trimming lamb hides
  • Recovery of lamb bi-products
  • Operation of saws, air knives, hock cutters and other power tools
Production Floor
  • Preparing lamb carcasses for production
  • Breaking carcasses for primal cuts
  • Trimming and boning lamb shoulders
  • Trimming lamb racks or lamb loins
  • Trimming shanks, necks and briskets
  • Trimming flanks or sirloins
  • Trimming other lamb pieces
Requirements
  • Must have previous experience working in a meat processing plant or Butcher experience.
  • Commitment to social distancing and safe health practices away from work
  • Attention to detail
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Physically fit (able to lift 50 lbs)
  • Enjoy working on a team
