Job Description

Company descriptionBöhringer Group is an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of concrete batch plants, crushers, mining, mineral processing and recycling equipment. Böhringer has been on the cutting edge of super heavy-duty equipment technology for 75 years. Our plants are robust and capable of withstanding the harshest environmental conditions. We are looking for a Full Time Press Brake Operator to join our team. They will be responsible for the setup and operation of forming and plasma cutting equipment in order to make routine bends, alignments, cuts and forms of materials such as metal sheets, plates, and structural shapes.Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather materials to fill work orders, set up machines with materials
  • Read and interpret specifications, drawings, and layouts for product specifications such as tooling instructions, tolerances, and dimensions. Translate instructions into actions
  • Set up, calibrate, operate and program forming equipment and fabricate both standard and complex parts
  • Responsible for assuring productivity and quality standards are consistently met
  • Verify conformance of parts to stock list and drawings using measuring instruments such as calipers, gauges, and micrometers
  • Conduct work safely in accordance with Company policies and procedures
  • Ensure any issues or recommendations concerning safety, productivity and quality are raised to your supervisor
  • Perform regular housekeeping and maintain a safe and clean work area
  • Participate in Safety and Quality Programs including Audits and Meetings
  • Participate and promote Continuous Improvement Activities
Skills & Qualifications:
  • 1+ years’ experience operating a press brake or plasma table
  • Have an understanding of sheet metal and formed parts
  • Ability to pay attention to details of a project or task
  • Basic computer navigation and utilization skills required
  • Ability to calculate dimensions and tolerances
  • Demonstrated ability to read and understand drawings
  • Demonstrated ability to read and understand English (verbal and written) instructions
  • Positive attitude towards new challenges
  • Lift approximately 50 lbs
Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $30.00-$32.00 per hourSchedule:
  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
Supplemental pay types:
  • Overtime pay
