Heavy Duty Field Service TechnicianRidgeline Equipment Ltd. (division of Equipment Corp. of America) - Metro Vancouver Regional District,Job description Ridgeline Equipment is the premiere mobile heavy equipment field service experts throughout Western Canada. We are always growing and looking to add individuals that are looking for a change and looking to work for a company that believes in continued growth and evolution of their employee #39;s into long term careers.The Job • Experience Repairing, Servicing and Diagnosing Deep Foundation Drilling, Cranes, Pilling and Tieback Drilling Equipment. (Soil Mec, Bauer, Casagrande, Liebherr etc.) • Experience Repairing, Servicing and Diagnosing Construction Equipment as in Loaders, Excavators, Rock trucks, Skids steers etc. • Experience with major brands such as (CAT, Komatsu, John Deere, Volvo, Hitachi etc.) • Inspect equipment for defects and malfunctions and repair as needed • Completes all maintenance and repair activities in a safe manner and ensures work area is clean and organized according to company policies and procedures. • Conducts business on behalf of Ridgeline Equipment Ltd. in a professional manner and represents Ridgeline Equipment #39;s culture to ensure fulfillment of company vision and values. • Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required What We Need From YOU: • A desire to make a difference and take pride in your work • A minimum of 3 years experience working with large construction and heavy-duty construction and drilling equipment, • MUST include in depth experience with Bauer, Klemm, Liebherr, Junttan, CAT, Komatsu, John Deere, and Hitachi • Excellent troubleshooting and technical skills • Superior mechanical aptitude • Shop and/or field work experience • Demonstrated commitment to safe work practices • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team or alone in the field • Ability to lift and manage 50 pounds without assistance • Must be a certified Red Seal HD Mechanic • Class 1 or 3 license is an asset but not required • Must have own tools • Preference will be given to applicants who have a minimal 3-5-year experience • Be willing to travel and be away from home occasionally • Willing to work in the field and in remote locations Ridgeline Equipment has to offer: • Competitive hourly wages, • Benefits package (medical, dental) • We will provide you with a late model 2 ton fully equipped service truck • Paid Vacation • Opportunity to grow with an established and growing company • Opportunity to travel across Canada, to multiple site/customer locations • Coveralls provided to you by Ridgeline Equipment • Dealer level training.Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Job Types: Full-time, PermanentExpected hours: 40 - 60 per weekAdditional pay: • Overtime payBenefits:• Company car • Dental care • Extended health care • Paid time off • RRSP match • Tuition reimbursement • Vision careSchedule: • 10 hour shift Experience: • Mechanical: 3 years (preferred) Licence/Certification: • Journeyman Heavy Duty Technician Certification (preferred) • Red Seal Heavy Duty Technician Certification (preferred)
