Job Description

Associate Attorney – Commercial LitigationPosition Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Attorney with 6-10 years of experience in commercial litigation. Responsibilities:

  • Handle a diverse caseload of complex commercial litigation matters.
  • Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and prepare for hearings and trials.
  • Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys to develop case strategies and tactics.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the courts
  • Take contractual disputes, shareholder disputes, oppression, derivative proceedings, property related disputes etc to court
Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree
  • Admission to the Law Society of British Columbia
  • 6-10 years of experience in commercial litigation (contractual disputes, shareholder disputes, oppression, derivative proceedings, property related disputes etc.)
  • Strong academic credentials.
  • Demonstrated ability to excel in a fast paced, high pressure environment.
  • Experience with big law firms preferred.
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Salary commensurate with experience.
  • Discretionary bonus based on performance.
