Kamloops Aboriginal Friendship Society (KAFS) is an Indigenous service delivery agency located in Kamloops, BC. Our team currently has 30 staff offering comprehensive services to the community from infancy to golden age in Kamloops for over 50 years.All our programs are embedded in culture. We find that many of our clients are looking for this and appreciate cultural practices such as smudging and drumming that happen on a regular basis. We are governed by a volunteer board and bylaws. Each year we hold annual general meetings and present an audited statement to the membership and our funders.THE OPPORTUNITY:Kamloops Aboriginal Friendship Society (KAFS) is seeking a dedicated and experienced Family Service Manager to oversee and coordinate the delivery of multiple community-based programs and services. Reporting to the General Manager, the Family Service Manager is responsible for ensuring that all programs under the Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD) contract, and potentially other programs as the role evolves, are delivered effectively and in alignment with organizational values and funding requirements.The ideal candidate brings a strong background in social services and proven leadership experience, particularly in managing culturally grounded programs for Indigenous communities.
