This requires the Ministry to both acquire and utilize high quality evidence, involving academia, researchers and health sector stakeholders to support and enable Ministry stewardship responsibilities.The Knowledge Mobilization unit supports the effective use of evidence and organizational knowledge in Ministry initiatives, in alignment with the Ministry’s Research and Knowledge Management Strategy. This includes the Ministry Innovation Hub and Knowledge Exchange events.The Ministry’s Health Innovation Hub is a physical space that provides resources and is a new way to work together to develop policy and creative solutions through collaboration and co-creation. The Hub helps drive change in the way that Ministry staff work and create a dynamic environment that encourages the flow of people and ideas. The ecosystem of supports within the Health Innovation Hub will allow the Ministry to leverage research, evidence, and data in our work. It allows the Ministry to work with stakeholders to harness our collective knowledge, effectively respond to external demands, and find innovative solutions to new and existing challenges.Knowledge Exchange events support the organizational learning and sharing of research, policy and strategic initiatives from within the Ministry and academia. It also provides a showcase of innovation underway in the health system. These presentations create opportunities for Ministry staff to strengthen their knowledge of topics of relevance to their work and the health sector.The Stakeholder Relations and Project Facilitator is responsible for maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders, supporting project teams that use the Health Innovation Hub including assessing project needs and supporting and connecting project teams with appropriate resources and stakeholders, and planning, coordinating and supporting Knowledge Exchange events and activities intended to meet the information and training needs of the Ministry.The BC Public Service is committed to creating a diverse workplace to represent the population we serve and to better meet the needs of our citizens. • Some post-secondary education and/or training in communications, business administration, public administration, project management (preferred) or a related field; OR
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Related experience includes:

• Experience providing project management and coordination services for assigned projects.
• Experience building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders.

Preference may be given to applicants with:

• 2 or more years related experience.
