DELIVERY DRIVER POSTINGFirst Truck Centre is Canadas first and longest standing DTNA Elite support certified group of facilities in Canada. Representing brands like Freightliner, Western Star, Autocar and Thomas Built Bus, we provide total customer support. We offer various sales, vehicle maintenance, necessary parts, and collision services that span across eight branches throughout Western Canada.Opportunity: First Truck Centre has an opening for a Delivery Driver at our Kamloops location. Working in our parts department, the Delivery Driver will contribute in one of Canadas best managed companies. Be a part of a team that takes trucking to the next level of quality and professionalism. Our Elite Support certified dealers provide top quality in all aspect of our business.Responsibilities:

  • Safely operating our company truck to facilitate the pickup and delivery of parts throughout the area.
  • Assists with the loading and unloading of trucks
  • Forklift operation
  • Picking and stocking parts and ensuring clean and orderly conditions.
  • Must be familiar with the streets and highways of the area
  • Able to identify parts
  • Have a high standard for vehicle maintenance
  • Follow all safe driving regulations set out by the province and the company.
Skill Set:
  • Professionally represent the company while providing excellent customer service
  • Strong willingness to following safety procedures and company policies
  • Must be a self-starter and able to work independently
  • Ability to work in a physical capacity including heavy lifting
  • Must be comfortable driving and maintaining a company vehicle
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma (or currently completing high school)
  • Class 5 drivers license
  • Previous driving or warehouse experience an asset
  • Forklift experience an asset (training will be provided)
