These would include excavation supervision, concrete formwork, full house framing, rainscreen application, siding/cladding, soffit/fascia, architectural concrete formwork, exterior windows doors preparation and installation, architectural ceiling drops, architectural flashings, back framing, and various other related carpentry tasks.Skills and Requirements: Open-minded, sharp, and detail-oriented, team players with the ability to manage multiple tasks and communicate effectively with our team members, consultants, subtrades, suppliers and our clients.Possesses analytical thinking (ability to gather, understand, integrate, and synthesize complex information) to develop solutions, make recommendations or propose action plans.A strong focus to learn and understand the high performance and building science installation details/methodologies of our projects. In class workshops and on the job training will be provided on how to install the various high-performance tapes, membranes, insulations, rainscreens, air/vapour barriers specific to each floor, roof, deck, and wall assemblies of the home.Working knowledge and experienced in interpreting architectural and structural drawings, shop drawings and specifications for each project. As well, experienced in interpreting and communicating BC building code standards applicable to residential custom home construction.Journeyman Carpenter certification with 4 levels of apprenticeship an asset.Proper use, care and attention of tools and equipment.Excellent time management skills with the ability to work unsupervised.Ability to work effectively in all climatic conditions, good manual dexterity, physical strength, and stamina.Good interpersonal skills when working with sub-trades and other team members.Good understanding of safety policies, and safe work practices.Have a reliable vehicle to get to the various projects in Kamloops and surrounding areas of the company’s projects.Position Type: Job Types: Full-timeCompensation: Salary: $36.00-$47.00 per hourJob Type: Full-timeSalary: $36.00-$47.00 per hourFlexible Language Requirement:
