This is an excellent way for the right candidate to start a career in cranes and hoists. The successful candidate could move into a rigging, apprentice tower crane operator or tower crane and hoist technician after several years of experience.Wage

  • $22 - $27 per hour depending on experience, negotiable.

Duties/Responsibilities
  • Assist tower crane and hoist technicians with any duties they need help with
  • Inventory counting and management
  • Unloading and loading materials
  • Cleanup and organization
  • Degrease cranes and skips
  • Perform maintenance
  • Operate skid steer
Working Conditions
  • Monday to Friday 6:30 am to 3:45 pm.
  • Overtime and work on weekends as required.
  • Long term, steady, year-round work
  • One paid 15 minute break and one ½ hour unpaid lunch break per day
  • Combination of inside and outside work. Appropriate dress required.

Requirements
  • Steel toe boots required
  • Experience running a bob cat
  • WHMIS 2015 required (we can provide)
  • Fall protection is considered an asset
  • Rigging ticket is considered an asset
  • Reliable transportation to and from Nisku
