Able to diagnose problems and implement immediate corrective action.Maintain cleanliness of mechanical room, storage rooms, electrical and boiler rooms.Provides initial response to calls for service. Evaluate maintenance needs, and take corrective action.Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide amazing guest service.Requires ability to perform maintenance, minor repairs, pool, spa maintenance, and other basic preventative maintenance and repairs as well as general maintenance on property.Perform general minor repairs to plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, kitchen equipment, light carpentry, painting and HVAC systems.Other duties as assignedOur Ideal CandidatePrevious Spa or Hospitality maintenance experience preferredPossession of a Certified Pool Operator Certification (CPO) requiredWHMIS, Standard First Aid (including CPR)Excellent guest service, communication, organizational skills in addition to a solid work ethic with the ability to work independentlyWorking ConditionsInclude but are not limited to:Ability to work a variety of shifts including early mornings, late evenings, weekends and holidaysFrequent standing and walking, bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling throughout shiftOccasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and rampsFrequent lifting and occasionally required to lift up to 50 lbsWorking outdoors in variety of mountain weather conditions, with average temperature ranges of -30c to +30c
