Job Description

Role: Analyst I CT KLSCompany: LOTS CanadaLocation: Kamloops, CanadaDirect report: Operations Manager I CanadaSummary description: Monitor the hauling and harvesting flow and processes by following Operational KPIs, tracking routines, dispatching trucks. Planning the daily work with harvesting and transportation to meet customer demands and follow operational standards, aiming to maintain the level of productivity to achieve LOTS goals through daily decisions on transport and harvesting activities. Executing actions aligned with the organizations tactical plan, based on the principles, philosophies and values ​​established by the company.Key activities:

  • Responsible for truck dispatch for both company operations and other contractor locations as well lowbed moves as needed
  • Communication and planning with bush bosses , loaderman other contractors, mills and anyone associated with the movement of freight for our operations
  • Manage and lead the transportation team and processes
  • Inspire and lead the team making sure they succeed in their deliveries
  • Responsible for following and reaching agreed target KPI’s
  • Create the preconditions needed to lead the team towards decided targets and KPI’s
  • Perform standardization and support for the implementation of LOTS operational practices
  • Guarantee the resources are being productive and optimized
  • Manage the area cost center
  • Ensure our safety culture is spread out among operation
  • Support the team on how to solve chronic problems
  • Develop a set of operational standards and tools that can be applied in the operation, as well as develop a Lean mindset in order to improve efficiency and standardize working methods
  • Customer relations continuously caring for a good relationship
  • Ensure – insurance and truck permits are up to date and tracked-copies are in their correct location in the office and vehicles
  • Driver training for new mills and safety
  • Booking accommodations for drivers and harvesting as needed
  • Navistream monitoring and maintenance to ensure all units are working and being used properly.
  • Participate in pulse meetings (Whole CT team)
  • On call for issues
  • Monitor maintenance intervals using JD link – Navistream and Emdecs reports and book them into shops as needed for repairs
  • Perform other activities related to their role when requested by the leadership
