Job Description

Plywood SupervisorKamloops, BCReporting to the Plywood Superintendent, the Plywood Supervisor is accountable for providing direction and leadership to a production crew of 15 to 24 employees and is accountable for scheduling, organizing and safely achieving targeted production levels of quality veneer or plywood. This position involves shift work and may include weekends.What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong commitment towards a safe work environment;
  • Previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment;
  • Post-secondary education in wood products manufacturing or related field is desirable;
  • Strong labour relations and people skills;
  • Familiarity with forest products manufacturing equipment;
  • Knowledge of Veneer and Plywood production is preferred.
