We help organizations establish and execute forward-thinking digital strategies with proven tactics that create meaningful experiences for customers and employees.We are 100% remote, with team members located across Canada.Visit us @ Home | Digital ConvergenceINTRODUCTIONWe are looking for a Proposal Writer to join the Digital Convergence team, a dynamic consulting firm that provides sustainable technology solutions focused on unlocking customers and enabling employees.The Proposal Writer role is an essential part of our team and is responsible for creating and delivering accurate, compelling proposals to unlock new business opportunities.This position is open to local and/or remote work-from-home in Canada. ROLE SPECIFICSRESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement an effective communication strategy based on the target audiences.
  • Write, edit, and distribute content, including publications, press releases, website content, annual reports, speeches and other marketing material that communicate the organization’s activities, products and services.
  • Write, edit, and submit compelling proposals that adhere to high standards of professionalism, accuracy and best practices in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with leadership to ensure sufficient time is available for necessary revisions, sign-off and acceptance of proposal submissions.
  • Consult subject matter experts (e.g. developers, project managers, solutions architects) to gather or validate requirements, technical solutions, cost estimates, etc.
  • Research, identify and review new RFPs while leveraging databases (i.e, Bonfire Interactive) to maximize new business opportunities aligned with company offerings.
  • Support proactive research to remain up-to-date with RFP, RFQ, RFI databases, tools and software.
  • Support ongoing monitoring of submitted proposals and relay necessary information to leadership or supporting team members.
  • Support the management and improvements to internal proposal processes.
  • Act as the first point of contact for all proposal enquiries.
  • Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum of 3 years in professional proposal writing, preferably in a technology / consulting firm and post-secondary education in a related field.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in the English language, French is an asset.
  • Understanding of the Request for Proposal (RFP) process.
  • High attention to detail with strong editing and proofreading skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in order to meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience writing/evaluating proposals in the Government sector would be an asset.
