Visit us @Home | Digital Convergence.INTRODUCTIONWe are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Analyst (QA Analyst) to join the Digital Convergence team. This dynamic consulting firm provides sustainable technology solutions focused on unlocking customers and enabling employees.As a Quality Assurance Analyst, you will be tasked with contributing to our web application projects, our testing infrastructure, and guiding other members of the team. Working within small delivery teams, your duties will assist in QA development, testing of code and architecture of web applications, websites and enterprise-ready solutions for our customers. Due to the nature of consulting, our tech stack varies from project-to-project but is predominately Drupal-oriented.The ideal candidate will have experience testing, building and producing code-based automated testing (PHP, PHPUnit), behavioural testing (Behat, Cypres), experience in web accessibility testing, and build mock services to validate against.This position is open to local and/or remote work-from-home in Canada. ROLE SPECIFICSRESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create, develop and maintain tests and testing infrastructure, and collaborate with our team (or sometimes, our client’s team members). Perform extensive testing, and ensure high-quality solutions.
  • Work on large, complex projects across multiple teams and ensure their implementation.
  • Write testable, efficient, secure and reusable code for continuous integration/deployment.
  • Be responsible for the overall code quality of the components under your teams responsibility.
  • Be accountable for the performance, reliability, scalability and resiliency of all components within your teams purview based on SLAs and monitoring the progress of tasks.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of technology roadmaps and influence them with technical and factual arguments.
  • Validate clearly defined technical solutions to business needs.
  • Collaborate with other (remote) developers, participate in daily stand-ups and perform peer-review of other team members code.
  • Collaborate and communicate clearly with all members of our team, including internal and external stakeholders.
  • Become a trusted thought leader with key project-level responsibilities and ownership.
  • Act as an ambassador to Digital Convergence, participating in company events, contributing to the corporate blog, and providing documented insights.
  • Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a CMS-related quality assurance role.
  • Testing across multiple technologies: HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP, Drupal, Laravel, Symfony.
  • Experience executing, creating, and developing automated tests (PHPUnit, Behat, Cyprus, Selenium and/or equivalent technologies).
  • Experience with Atlassian tools, including Jira.
  • Experience developing solutions for cross-platform and browser compatibility.
  • Experience working with containerized applications and environments.
  • Understanding of each of the parts that make up modern enterprise-ready web applications (e.g. APIs, templating, routing, design patterns, caching, security).
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders to establish trust and rapport.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
