This theory course is scheduled from 5:30 PM to 8:20 PM on Tuesdays from January 4, 2022 - April 24, 2023, which includes the exam period.The hours and terms of the contract will be negotiated based on qualifications, availability and program needs.QUALIFICATIONSThe successful applicant will have expertise with death and dying, end of life, palliative care; and

  • Master’s Degree required
  • Holds a Bachelor’s degree in nursing;
  • Experience in nursing education
o Experience using teaching and learning technologieso Experience using a learning management systemo Experience preparing evaluative tools and gradingo Experience teaching undergraduate students in a theory course (preferred)
  • Three (3) years or equivalent hours of clinical practice experience in a relevant field of nursing and Indigenous health nursing practice
  • Exemplary communication skills (written, oral and electronic)
  • An understanding of, and experience in, the Canadian healthcare system
  • Practicing RN membership with BCCNM
