Job Description

Kamloops, BCPart-Time Bus Driver (0.5 FTE)St. Ann’s Academy is seeking a part-time bus driver to join a team of staff in serving the transportation needs of this K-12 school facility. This weekday position shall commence as agreed upon with the selected candidate. The incumbent is responsible for safely transporting students over assigned routes and for reporting any mechanical failures or accidents.Preference will be given to candidates who:

  • share in the Catholic faith and actively participate in the life of their parish
  • are experienced working in school transportation
  • possess a Class 2 BC driver’s licence with an Air Brake endorsement
  • possess a safe driving record
  • possess knowledge of highway and school bus regulations
  • contribute to a welcoming, safe environment
  • build trust and positive relations with all shareholders
  • demonstrate a strong work ethic
