We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our award-winning team.Using a solution-based sales approach, you will manage a thriving sales territory in the Okanagan BC region, with responsibility for Ingersoll Rand’s full line of compressed air products including reciprocating compressors, rotary screw compressors, air dryers and filtration, and various system accessories and services.This job is a great match for people who enjoy lots of variety, problem-solving, and continuous learning and development. Ideal candidates will possess a strong technical aptitude and/or educational background. Previous air compressor and/or industrial equipment sales experience is an asset for this position, however we will train candidates who are intelligent, friendly, people-oriented, and willing to go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction.This is a full-time position with much of the scheduling being driven by you. You will manage existing customer accounts and develop new customer relationships. Effective time management, professional communication skills, and a pro-active attitude towards prospecting and appointment setting are keys to success in this position. When you’re not meeting with customers, you’ll be working with our team at our main office, which means you’ll have plenty of flexibility.
