  • Secondary school graduation or equivalent (GED).
  • Minimum 6 months experience working in an office setting.
  • Minimum 6 months experience working in a computerized environment using various computer applications and data bases. (For example: Microsoft Office applications (Word Excel, Outlook, Skype) for word processing, spread sheeting, data entry, email, and video teleconferencing; and case management or other database applications). Consideration may be given for completion of an Administrative Business Skills course or program as an experience equivalency.
  • Experience providing quality customer or client service, carrying out duties and responding to client needs in a professional manner.
  • Experience working independently and as a team member with a multi-disciplinary environment and with other professional staff, client, and service providers.
Preference may be given to applicants with 1 or more of the following:
  • Diploma or Certificate in Office Administration.
  • Experience using Ministry of Children and Family (MCFD) Integrated Case Management (ICM), CRIS, and/or Management Information Systems (MIS) computer systems.
  • 1 year or more experience working in an office setting.
  • 6 months or more experience providing quality client service and responding to client needs in a professional manner.
  • 6 months or more experience working independently and as a team member within a multi-disciplinary environment with other professional staff, clients, and service providers.
  • Administrative experience working with vulnerable children and families in a human services or social services setting.
  • Applicants who self-identify as First Nations, Metis, or Inuit with the required combination of education and experience.
