Job Description

Sockeye Modular Installations has multiple positions open for Carpenters and Construction Labourers to provide construction services in remote locations.Start Date: Immediate.Shifts: 21 days remote, 7 days restHours: 8-12 hours days, overtime offeredJob Type: Contract with possibility of permanentWhat we offer:

Role Responsibilities
  • Complete installations, renovations and dismantling of modular structures (accommodations, commercial, residential, offices and support equipment)
  • Work both indoors and outdoors
  • Work independently and/or as part of a crew
Role Requirements
  • Have 3-5 years of construction experience; Carpentry training is an must
  • Flexible to work remote locations for extended periods of time
  • Have the ability to safely lift 50lbs.
  • Have the ability to perform repetitive motions such as bending, crouching, and/or kneeling for long periods through the day
  • Have the capacity to work outside in extreme weather conditions depending on season
  • The ability to pass pre-access drug and alcohol testing
  • Able to provide your own hands tools
  • OSSA Fall Protection required, any other Safety/Equipment certificates are considered an asset
  • A reliable vehicle to report in Nisku
Job Types: Full-time, Fly-In/Fly-OutSalary: $25.00-$32.00 per hourSchedule:
  • 12 hour shift
  • Overtime
