Job Description

CONSTRUCTION LABOURERWhere are you headedMission Group is seeking casual labourers to join our high-rise construction teams! The individual will work along the site team to support a variety of construction jobs on-site, as directed by the Site Superintendent. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of experience working on residential and/or high-rise projects and shares our commitment to safety, quality, teamwork, and customer satisfaction.Interested candidates can bring their resume directly to either one of the below locations and ask for Gary Klassen, General Superintendent:

  • Aqua Waterfront Village - 550 Truswell Rd, Kelowna, BC V1W 3L3
  • The Block – Site trailer is located on the corner of Bernard Ave and Bertram Street, Kelowna, BC
This is a casual position and is dependent on project and operational demands.What you’ll be doing:
  • Loading and unloading construction materials
  • Framing / Back-framing
  • Cleaning and preparing the construction site
  • Site maintenance
  • Hands-on carpentry
  • Other duties as required
What you’ll bring:
  • 1+ years of experience in construction
  • Ability to communicate effectively with site staff and trades
  • First Aid Training would be an asset
  • Ability to lift up to 50 or more pounds
