Job Description

At Soma Cidery we believe that our passion for making great cider translates to the glass and trust that a shared table with cider on it is the perfect setting for friends to gather.We are passionate about our craft and about the connections people make while enjoying what we have produced.What we are looking for:

  • A natural host who is energized by educating and entertaining a wide variety of people in a lively and approachable manner
  • Hospitality experience, preferably with a liquor industry focus
  • Committed to excellence and high standards
  • Available to work evenings, weekends and holidays
  • 19 years of age or older.
  • Serving It Right certificate.
  • Courteous, friendly, positive attitude.
  • Able to lift 40lbs and stand for long periods of time.
Duties include but are not limited to:
  • Create a memorable experience and long lasting first impression for all guests
  • Process customer sales, provide guest service and tastings at the bar, hosting tours of the facility
  • Maintaining a clean and welcoming Tasting room
  • Performing sales transactions using POS Systems and following transaction procedures accurately
  • Cider Lounge opening and closing duties, including daily cash reconciliation and inventory
Contract length: 3-6 monthsPart-time hours: 20-40 per weekJob Types: Part-time, TemporaryPay: From $16.50 per hourAdditional pay:
