Job Description

Human Resources AdministratorObjective:The Human Resources Administrator is responsible for administering a variety of HR programs and projects, and for providing Human Resources support on a day-to-day basis as assigned by the Manager of Human Resources. This role will have a strong focus on talent acquisition and recruitment.Role and Responsibilities:Provide support in recruitment activities including:

  • Posting of job openings
  • Tracking and screening applications using an applicant tracking software
  • Prescreen interviewing selected applicants
  • Booking interviews
  • Reference checks
  • Tracking metrics
  • Providing suggestions on new ways to attract talent
  • Attending career fairs
  • Administer online new hire, benefits and pension/RSP enrolment packages
  • Assist in the preparation of various HR related correspondence, policies and procedures
  • Administrative support for the payroll/HR department including organization of employee documentation and other duties as assigned.
Skill/Knowledge Requirements:
  • Completed or enrolled in Bachelor of Business Administration program with a focus in Human Resources
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Dependable, flexible and adaptable
  • High ethical standards
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task, analyze, prioritize, identify and action solutions
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Capacity to think creatively and outside of the box
  • Prior HR administrative support is an asset
