Job Description

CUC is currently seeking a Labourer to join our team in Kelowna, BC due to an increase in recent work volume. This key member of our construction team will provide general labour duties while working on natural gas service and main installs. This includes, but is not limited to hand digging, laying pipe, swamping and overall physical labour.ABOUT US: Canadian Utility Construction (CUC), a Quanta Services company, provides quality underground construction services to utility companies throughout Western Canada. We specialize in a full range of construction and maintenance services for the Natural Gas Distribution and Transmission industry. Working with us means a rewarding job in a diverse workplace where you are encouraged to grow through training and hands-on experience.WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

  • Some Labour experience, preferably in civil underground work, concrete work and an awareness of working around heavy equipment
  • Prior civil experience is considered an asset, as is experience asphalt paving or pouring concrete
  • Will to learn with a positive attitude
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Strong belief in Live Safe
