Empire Landscaping Ltd is a high quality landscape construction company operating in Kelowna and area since 2005 creating beautiful yards and outdoor living spaces. We are looking for full time motivated, trustworthy and committed individuals to join our team. We are looking to hire physically fit, hardworking, labourers and a foreman to start for the 2023 Landscape season starting in February or early March, experience is recommended but not required for labourers.*****Please note we do NOT do any yard or lawn maintenance, we are strictly a landscape construction company.*****Position includes a minimum of 47.5 + hours a week. Empire offers the best wages in the province based on experience, which range for a foreman or project manager on average between $30-$45/hr plus overtime for foreman, a company truck and fuel/credit card, paid bonuses and incentives, includes at least 1.5+ hours of daily overtime. Wages can vary from $17 - 25/hr for labourers depending on experience and work ethic.A drivers license and vehicle is required. Duties may include installing some or all of the following: installing block retaining walls and raised garden beds, block stair cases, paver stone patios, pathways and driveways, irrigation systems, artificial turf, installing top soil and grading to level, installing turf, garden and shrub beds, water features, landscape lighting, excavating and grading of job sites, operating skid steers, mini excavators, compacters, jack hammers, turf cutters, planting trees and shrubs, landscape edging, cedar fencing, etc.At Empire, we have an amazing group of people on our team who know how to work hard, have fun, and have a passion for everything we design and install. We work on an assortment of projects from new residential construction, to ripping out existing homes landscaping and re doing them from scratch, or simply adding to and upgrading the existing landscaping or outdoor living spaces. We work on small to medium size commercial projects, as well as many high end homes around the Okanagan, including lots of beautiful lakefront homes.
