*OBJECTIVE: *Reporting to General Manager, the Logistics Coordinator will support our pavement marking team. This person will work closely and communicate with the GM, Head Mechanic, Foremen, and Suppliers to ensure materials and equipment are available when needed.*QUALIFICATIONS: *Education: High School diploma with experience, Post-secondary education or, · Hands on experience in a related fieldExperience & Skills:Minimum 1-2 years prior experience working in a similar roleProficiency in MS Office. We are a Windows based office.Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written)Detail oriented and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environmentExcellent organizational, time management, and prioritization skills Ability to respond to urgent matters quickly and work independentlyGood judgement skills Flexibility and willingness to work outside of regular office hoursPrior experience with the following is considered an asset: 1. Generating truck loading plans2. Ordering, warehousing, and managing consumables3. Negotiating freight rates / booking carriers4. Fleet management (repairs, licencing, claims)5. Providing direction to junior staff*PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: *1. Ensure our teams in the field have the materials and equipment to complete their projects2. Work closely with vendors, production, and the warehouse to arrange inbound and outbound shipments3. Track warehouse inventory4. Track and trace outbound orders to ensure on time delivery.5. Ensure delivery appointments are booked per project requirements.6. Book Travel Reservations7. Report truck delays / issues to the appropriate manager.8. Collect inbound documents and match to invoices for approval9. Prepare shipping documents (including dangerous goods forms)10. Assigning loads to carriers as required.11. Perform other similar duties as required by General ManagerJob Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per yearBenefits:
