Someone who is committed to the growth and success of the business, by implementing strategies that increase productivity and work with sales and other delivery groups to ensure targets are achieved.As the successful candidate, here are some things you’ll be responsible for:

• Manage production teams made up of Scrum Masters, Product Owners, Architects, Software Engineers, UX Designers, and Front-end Developers to create alignment and efficiencies both virtually and via in-person team meetings.
• Assist in the recruitment, selection, training, onboarding, and management of production team members.
• Responsible for using sales forecasts and allocated labour budgets to predict hiring needs within the production department.
• Project assignment and resource allocation, and facilitating team changes when necessary.
• Create and monitor resource assignments to ensure revenue targets will be met.
• Provide direction and hands-on support during client escalations and project issues.
• Create and govern project reporting procedures to monitor all service activity, identifying continuous improvement opportunities, and actioning issues that are identified and brought forward.
• Support sales team in the positioning, sale and delivery of services, including reviewing outgoing proposals and assigning timelines to potential engagements.
• Act as interim Scrum Master or Product Owner on projects when needed.
• Document and uphold policy and procedures to support on-going operations.
• Work with our SR&Ed consultants to coordinate annual grant claims.

The successful applicant will have:

• Minimum of 3 years experience managing projects within a client services organization in a Project Manager, Scrum Master, or Product Owner capacity.
• Minimum of 2 years working as a Program Manager, Delivery Manager, or Project Manager lead within a client service organization.
• Minimum of 2 years working experience working in an agile environment.
• Experience leading teams.
• Strong change management capabilities and capacity.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem solving skills to clear roadblocks and resolve issues, embrace agile thinking and ways of working to be flexible and adaptable.
• An excellent internet connection is required; you must be able to sustain an hour long conference call without any issues
• PMP and/or certifications in agile, PMP, scrum (ex: PMI-ACP or CSPO) is considered an asset
