In turn, we offer an award-winning environment that fosters a people-first culture with a high priority on your personal and professional growth.Your opportunity:Our BC Interior offices are looking for Seasonal Tax Preparers to join the Tax team from March to April 30, 2023, and own the following responsibilities:

  • Assisting with preparing personal tax returns
  • Scan all incoming documentation for each tax return, ensuring accuracy and proper organization
  • Organizing and reviewing supporting documentation that is required to prepare personal income tax returns
  • Communicate with CRA and clients as directed
  • Responding to staff and partner requests in person and over email/phone
  • Work independently and follow through on assignments with minimal direction

Your experience and education
  • Previous experience in preparing T1’s and income tax knowledge
  • Tax preparation course would be an asset
  • Actively demonstrate confidentiality, tact and discretion in handling information of a sensitive nature
  • Strong organization skills and high attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work and be flexible when priorities shift
