This person will be responsible for the management of day-to-day Accounts Receivable activities, routine processes and customer relations. They will oversee a team of Accounts Receivable specialists whose main tasks are to apply payments, reconcile customer accounts, research outstanding transactions, and collect outstanding receivables.About You:The person we are looking for is driven and focused on achieving targeted performance goals. You are results oriented, and are passionate about finding more efficient and effective ways to work. You are a team player who can also work independently, and have strong written and verbal communication skills.The ideal candidate would have:

• A Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
• Strong mentorship skills to successful manage a high performing team
• Strong technical proficiency with a good command of systems including MS Office
• An understanding of business processes and a customer-centric focus towards their work
• Preference will be given to those with credit and collections experience

Day in the LifeReporting to the Accounts Receivable Manager, the Accounts Receivable Supervisor would be responsible for:

• Ensuring productivity, service standards, and expense budgets are achieved
• Monitoring key performance indicators
• Monitoring incoming cash on a daily basis and following up as required
• Analyzing, understanding and solving discrepancies
• Providing ongoing guidance, leadership and direction for direct reports
• Providing regular feedback and analysis to business partners to improve operations or address issues
• Weekly reporting on accounts status through to upper management
