The Ministry is responsible for regional and province wide delivery of services and programs that support positive and healthy outcomes for children, youth and their families.In this position you will interact with children, families, youth in care and foster parents and provides case management assistance to Ministry social workers, clinicians, and probation officers who maintain case management responsibility for service delivery. Key responsibilities include assisting in the conducting of child abuse/neglect investigations, supporting youth-in-care (YIC) and service providers in independent living plan; implementing planned moves of children-in-care (CIC), maintaining contact with CIC, foster parents and families; liaising with community services for Children and Youth with Support Needs (CYSN); supporting the delivery of Children and Youth Mental Health (CYMH) services; and other related duties as required.You will work closely with MCFD Social Workers and other staff, community professionals and the Indigenous community to provide the highest level of service to children/youth and their families while adhering to Ministry’s policies and standardsJob Requirements:
