Located in the heart of downtown Kelowna and at BCs oldest winery location, the shop also boasts a selection of Sandhill and Gretzky branded clothing, house wares, home decor, cookbooks, and local artisan treats to suit every budget and taste.We are seeking extraordinary, enthusiastic Seasonal Wine Ambassadors to join our Sandhill & Wayne Gretzky Estate Winery team to start April 1st!Reporting into the Retail & Experience Manager, your role will be varied, and no two days will be the same!   • 35-40 Average weekly hours during peak season*
  • Competitive hourly rate with a potential to earn up to an additional $25/hour with gratuities and wine club sales commission!*

We are looking for teammates with:
  • A passion for working with the public and/or are interested in learning about wine
  • A passion for sharing wine, property spirits and viticultural knowledge
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to multi-task
  • A "Can Do" attitude and enjoy working under pressure
  • An understanding of how to provide best-in-class service for guests
  • Ability to be a brand ambassador; you love to entertain others in a fun and engaging way
  • Understand and following established proper COVID 19 Protocol and compiling with work safe practices
  • Valid Serving it Right certification
These teammates will be accountable for:
  • Creating memorable guest experiences and for performing all selling and retail functions within the retail boutique
  • Sharing wine/property spirits and viticultural knowledge in a fun and engaging way
  • Drive for higher sales and encourage guests to become Wine Club members
  • Being a Wine Educator and brand ambassador conveying a consistent and positive brand store
  • Estimate based on prior years
