We are currently looking for a Maintenance Manager to join our team.The candidate will be responsible for the maintenance of all process equipment throughout the plant as well as the supervision and support of the team.He/she will also develop the continuous improvement and safety performance programs.SUMMARY OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIESProvide Leadership: The primary function is to provide leadership to all teams within the organization to achieve customer satisfaction and superior business results.As the leader, you will help in the development of the team, provide workplace coaching to enhance skills and performance and lead the employee development and succession planning.Problem-Solving: Act as a coach, teacher, and problem solver, assisting the team in developing standard work procedures, job skills, problem-solving skills, and identifying areas for improvement.Safety Performance: Take a leadership role in ensuring the safety of all employees, ensuring they work safely to support corporate safety goals.You will also measure, monitor, audit, and evaluate safety performance to ensure continuous improvement. As a leader you will champion and communicate the importance of health and safety to all employees, contractors, and visitors to maintain a culture of safety.Resource Allocation and Asset Management: Ensure that appropriate resources are available to all staff to achieve the goals and effectively manage company assets to optimize their use and performance.Facility Improvement: Collaborate in the design and lead long-term improvement plans for the facilities to enhance operational efficiency.Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor the performance and effectiveness of all operations to identify areas for improvement as well as analyze the causes and effects of issues to implement effective solutions in areas such as inventory management and capital projects.Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the optimum maintenance of plant equipment to prevent downtime and maintain operational efficiency.Team Coordination: Coordinate with other teams and leadership to ensure alignment and collaboration.LEAN Manufacturing: Drive the LEAN manufacturing program to improve operational efficiency and reduce waste.OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE;You have at least five (5) years’ experience with the required educational background.Ideally you have training in Lean Manufacturing, first aid, Hazard ID, WHIMIS. Computer skills and experience in a plant environment. You possess mechanical skills and excel in planning, organizing, and monitoring activities based on priorities.You effectively work under pressure, establish, and meet deadlines, and make decisions while maintaining a focus on process improvement. You have a strong understanding of health and safety protocols and furthermore, youhave excellent communication and effective interpersonal skills, allowing you to collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional team members.WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU
