Job Description

K-8 In-Centre Teacher/TutorOxford Learning Kingston is looking for an upbeat, dynamic, K-8 teacher who wants to work in a challenging and rewarding learning environment.All candidates must possess strong English communication skills, have extensive knowledge of, and experience with, the Ontario curriculum from Kindergarten to Grade 8 and be comfortable teaching up to Grade 8 math skills as well.Teaching Requirements:

  • Undergraduate or post-secondary qualification
  • Strong communication and multi-tasking abilities
  • Experience with children in a teaching or tutoring environment and/or teaching certification
  • Flexible availability
  • Available to work 2 evenings a week, and some Saturdays (possibility of increased hours)
  • Passionate about K-8 education with a desire to work with children and adolescents
