Job Description

Title: Produce PayablesReports to: Vice President - FinanceBased at: Kingsville, OntarioType of Employment: Full time, permanent, 5-days a week, Monday to FridayJob Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Validate all inventories for payment to produce vendors and pooled growers
  • Ensure all receiving, repack and shipping inventories have been reconciled by Produce Inventory clerks
  • Manage full cycle accounts payable of both produce vendors and pooled growers on a weekly basis
  • Provide financial reporting on results
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • 4+ years’ experience in inventory and/or payables position
  • Knowledge of inventory/payables principles
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work under pressure, multi-task and to reprioritize tasks on a daily basis
  • Ability to communicate effectively (written, oral and spoken) in English.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Outlook.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in reporting
  • Knowledge of Famous an asset
Physical Abilities:
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
