Hours:Full Time, Permanent, Day, Weekend40 - 44 hours / weekSalary & Benefits:$17.00 - $19.00 / HourDisability benefits, Medical benefits, Dental benefits, Group insurance benefits, Life insurance benefits.Roles and Responsibility:Overall responsibilityAssist with janitorial functions ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.Responsible for the maintenance of the pest management program.Key areas of responsibilityAssist with all janitorial functions.Assist with all daily, weekly, periodic and annual cleaning/sanitizing duties in all required areas throughout the entire facility; maintain complete records.Ensure proper dilution of all cleaning supplies using a dilution control system; complete all necessary documentation.Assist with providing support and solutions in regards to proper cleaning practices to all departments, when required.Review janitorial needs and opportunities for improvement.Assist Janitor to ensure all Migrant Worker housing requirements are determined and met.Assist with issuing supplies to the Migrant Workers and ensuring housing facilities are stocked, as required.Responsible for weekly maintenance of pest control – checking tin cats, recording and maintaining accurate records.Responsible for monthly maintenance of pest control – bait traps around perimeter of buildings, recording and maintaining accurate records.Communicate all activities of pest control to the VP of Food Safety and Regulatory Affairs and/or Food Safety and Quality Assistant.Represent the company in a professional manner at all times.Maintain confidentiality regarding all projects, property and all intellectual property of the company.Report all discrepancies and breaches of any and all company procedures, protocols and integrity.Ensure that all functions conform to all Food Safety, Quality Management System and Health and Safety requirements.Obey all general job training instructions, safe work practices and procedures.Skills (sets) Required: (include education & experience):Ability to speak, read/write English2 – 5 years relevant experienceValid Drivers LicenseAbility to work independently, as well as part of a teamFlexible, ReliableGreat Northern welcomes and encourages applications from people with disabilities.Accommodations are available on request from candidates taking part in all aspects of the selection process.Quick Apply
