The Butcher of Kingsville is a full service, specialty butcher shop focusing on local, responsibly raised and organic meats, artisanal cheeses and handcrafted foods. We create weekly burger and sausage features and offer specialty foods and products all in beautiful downtown Kingsville.Our team of young, skilled butchers have resurrected the craft of whole animal butchery respecting the animal for all its parts. We are looking for a self-motivated, creative, task-oriented Marketing Manager to join our team to strengthen the relationship we have with our community and our customers, both existing and new. We want to share the beauty we see in our space with the world and need your help to do it.We are looking for a wizard Marketing Manager to support and grow the Butcher of Kingsville brand. The Marketing Manager specializes in digital marketing but is versed in traditional marketing channels as well. The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing the marketing strategy and executing it across all owned and paid digital channels (website, email, FB, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Tik Tok, Snapchat and Pinterest).ROLE: The Marketing Manager works in tandem with our leadership team to develop a marketing strategy and execute digital marketing services. The Manager is responsible for but not limited to website and social media management, digital advertising, email marketing, content creation, and creative business development.YOU ARE: · Driven and motivated· You believe in the values of sustainability, community support and collaboration· You have a passion for growth, are eager to learn about our industry and share what we do· You love being a part of a high performing teamRESPONSIBILITIES: · Work with the leadership team to develop the annual and quarterly marketing strategy.· Develop annual and quarterly marketing plans leveraging the ideal mix of digital and traditional marketing routes to achieve desired goals.· Assist in developing the strategy, and leading the design and execution of website (new features and content).· Execution and management of digital advertising campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and more.· You have a creative flair and understanding of social media trends and best practices in content production.· Execution of email marketing campaigns (including copywriting) to drive brand awareness and sales for clients.· Day-to-day management of social media communities including developing content calendars, responding to followers, and developing campaigns to facilitate online customer care.· Develop reports and provide insights on successes and areas for improvement.· Meet both long-term and short-term project deadlines and commitments.· Follow processes for developing, reviewing, and approving strategies and content.· Interpret and apply client feedback to ongoing projects.· Maintaining an awareness of current industry and technology standards, social media, competitive landscape, and market trends.REQUIREMENTS: · Degree or diploma in Communications or Marketing (preferred) plus 1-2 years of digital marketing experience.· You have good verbal and written communication skills.· Trained and proficient in using Facebook Business Manager, Facebook Ads Manager, Google Ads, Google Analytics, MailChimp, Instagram, TikTok, and Hootsuite Social.· A firm understanding of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) is considered an asset.· Experience with websites built on WordPress, Shopify, and/or SquareSpace is considered an asset.· Any understanding of SEO and SEO best practices is considered an asset.· Strategic and innovative mindset.· Knowledge and understanding of marketing trends.· Attention to detail and quality under challenging deadlines.· Strong communication skills.· Sound judgment and project management skills, able to balance priorities and manage optimal workflow.· Live within Kingsville or Windsor/Essex County as in office meetings will be required.Job Types: Part-time, PermanentPart-time hours: 20-25 per weekSalary: $20.00-$25.00 per hourSchedule:
