Reporting to the Quality Manager, the ideal candidate will be committed to customer service excellence and leads by example.Job Duties: · Examine and inspect containers, materials, and products to ensure that specifications are met.· Perform product testing and prepare samples.· Obtain, move, and sort products, materials, containers, and orders.· Measure, weigh, and count products and materials.· Records product, packaging, and order information on specified forms and records.· Examine contents and compare with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy of incoming/outgoing shipment.· Confer and correspond with establishment representatives to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, and nonconformance to specifications.· Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, and damages and discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, and record keeping purposes.· Take photos and prepare quality reports for other departments.Requirement· Communicate any issues or concerns to the line leader, supervisor, or manager.· Ability to conduct basic mathematical calculations.· Ability to communicate effectively (written, oral, and spoken) in English.· Experience with Microsoft programs.· Must be able to work independently or within a team setting.· Positive attitude, punctual, and wiling to grow within the company.Your Environment: · Work environment can be warm and humid, similar to a greenhouse environment· Able to wear the appropriate PPE including a full-face mask and spray suit as needed· Lifting up to 30 lbs. on regular basis· Standing & walking for long periods of time· Frequent bending, kneeling, and reaching· Ability to perform a series of repetitive operations requiring manual dexterity and visual acuity· Able to work flexible hours including weekendsNOTE: Job Description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
