Responsibilities include the safe loading and unloading of trucks, minor maintenance work, supporting control with inventory documentation, and full adherence to safety compliance regulations.This is a full-time permanent position, in our Kitchener, Ontario facilityPositions: 1Shift: Afternoon Shift (Monday -Friday, 3:30 pm - 11:30 pm )Rate: $22.45+ (shift premium)Responsibilities and Duties
  • Operate lifting devices, e.g. forklifts, hoists, and elevating platforms
  • Manually load and unload materials from pallets, skids, platforms, trailers, and lifting devices
  • Accurately ship and receive product
  • Support inventory control with accurate documentation
  • Ensuring the accuracy of products taken to and from production.
  • Ensure all pallets coming from End of Line (EOL) are accurately labeled.
  • Ensure that any movement of inventory is scanned and in the system at the time of movement with RF scan guns.
  • Ensure the accuracy of all incoming receipts.
  • Ensuring proper storage and segregation of allergens products is maintained.
  • Consolidation of partial pallets.
  • Assist in the disposition of the non-salable product
  • Consolidation and segregation of inventory locations.
  • Cycle counting.
  • Follow all workplace safety policies and compliance regulations
  • Monitor safety and cleanliness of the warehouse, and be responsible for food safety, food quality, and food defense.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Current Forklift License/Certificate
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience working as a forklift operator in a high-volume warehouse environment
  • Experience working with Warehouse RFS (Radio Frequency Scanner) an asset
  • Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment
