They are excited to read more about what amazing things you could add to D2L.JOB SUMMARY:Reporting to the Senior Manager of Revenue & Deal Desk, the main responsibility of the Accounts Receivable Analyst is to maintain ownership of a portfolio of global customer accounts, including review and processing of contracts, invoicing, collections and payment application. This position will also have ownership of accounts payable activities, including receiving and matching invoices and account coding. This position requires the ability to work independently while prioritizing competing requests and to provide an excellent customer experience both externally and internally. Working alongside an experienced team of professionals, this role is vital to the ongoing operations at D2L.HOW WILL I MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Review and interpret contracts in conjunction with Sales and internal Legal teams
  • Process contracts housed within CRM (Salesforce) into ERP (NetSuite), including revenue allocation assessments
  • Invoice customers based on contractual requirements, including review of sales taxes
  • Perform collection follow-ups with customers, including internal and external escalations where required
  • Process and apply credit memos as required
  • Apply customer payments and complete bank deposits
  • Match, check and process invoices/credit for payment
  • Respond to internal and external inquiries, providing a positive customer service experience
  • Suggest and implement process improvements
  • Ad hoc reporting and projects as required
WHAT WILL YOU BRING TO THE ROLE:
  • You are organized with a strong attention to detail allowing you to handle multiple projects and objectives in a fast-paced environment
  • You have strong interpersonal and communication skills allowing you to act as a key liaison with internal and external stakeholders
  • You have excellent analytical skills and possess sound judgement, allowing you to solve complex problems with creative solutions
  • You are a proactive self-starter with a desire for accountability
  • You are a skilled communicator both written and verbally with strong presentation skills
  • You are comfortable using technology to make processes better, faster, smarter
Work Experience Recommendations:
  • Minimum two years of relevant Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable or Bookkeeping experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and an ability to prioritize competing requests
  • Ability to maintain confidential information
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience using NetSuite and/or Salesforce is considered an asset
Education Recommendations:
  • Bachelors degree or college diploma in an Accounting related field
