If you want to make a positive impact, be relevant and make a change, join our team and become a part of the solution!What YOU will do:Reporting to the Chief Operation Officer (COO), the Administrative Coordinator oversees the day-to-day administrative activities of our new facilities in the Kitchener/Waterloo/Elmira area. As the successful candidate, you will be integral in supporting, setting up, and maintaining all the administrative processes for the organization. Your days will be busy supporting the engineering and research teams with administrative tasks, ensuring the data entry and tracking of purchase orders, coordinating meetings and presentations, assisting with trade shows and conferences, and including travel arrangements for team members. As the organization continues to grow, you will be a key player in setting up the office space, coordinating contractors for leasehold improvements, and on-site system work. Your organizational and administrative skills have been demonstrated in managing projects, whether in the office or at school. You possess the ability to communicate clearly, whether it is to your colleagues, to contractors or to potential customers in a trade show – talking to people and getting your message across in a positive and collaborative way is a strength of yours. You have experience with standard office software, including Excel, PowerPoint, and project management software. You are a self-starter – able to problem solve as things come up, and you know when to escalate the issue to find a proper resolution.This position may require some international travel, so you must be able to travel internationally as needed.
