Pinnacle Tree & Shrub Care provides tree care services in the Kitchener/Waterloo and surrounding areas. We are locally owned and operated. Since 1977, we have studied this field and we strive to provide a high level of service and care, using the latest arboriculture techniques. We promote training and growth within our industry, and we provide in-house training. We are members of the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) as well as the Tree Care Industry Association (TCIA).The goals of Pinnacle Tree & Shrub Care are to have crew members that are polite, courteous, and respectful of our clients and their properties. To that regard we require our crew members to come with a good attitude, a willingness to learn and grow, to be able to work in a team setting or independently, and to have a high regard for safety, to ensure a safe work environment.Position Description: The skills and responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:· Performs all required ground, climbing, and aerial lift duties in support of specific job assignments, as directed by crew leader or designated supervisor· Skills to operate chainsaws, chippers and other equipment· Properly maintain all tools and equipment· Ability to install and inspect structural support systems· Experience to safely prune or remove large limbs using advanced rigging techniques· Capability to drive a truck with a trailer· Responsible for carrying out other duties as assigned by the crew leader or designated supervisor, Arborist representative, or local manager· Abide by industry safety policies and proceduresExperience/Qualifications: · High School Diploma or equivalent preferred· 2-3 years’ experience climbing with ropes and harness in the tree care industry· Hold a valid “G†license required with a clean Driver’s Abstract· Hold or working towards an ISA Certification or Ontario Licensed Arborist· Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs.· Ability to work safely as part of a team and possess the willingness to learn and progressPay/Benefits: Competitive compensation with benefitsFull time year-round workWSIB coverageHolidays Paid/OvertimeTraining and mentoringTraining allowanceAnnual boot allowanceCompany uniform providedTraining and safety gear providedPay will be assessed to match qualificationsJob Type: Full-timeSalary: $23.00-$28.00 per hourSchedule:
