  • Oversee the day-to-day management of short-form member communications across BridgingTheGap channels (i.e. email, Discord, Telegram, social, etc.), including responding to questions and resolving issues
  • Uphold BridgingTheGap’s voice and values online, including forming and nurturing positive relationships with various global stakeholders (i.e. young people, decision-makers, celebrity influencers, industry leaders, youth-focused organizations, etc.)
  • Act as point person on external communications with various global high-level stakeholders on behalf of BridgingTheGap, ensuring conversations move forward and action items are accomplished
  • Maintain community engagement across BridgingTheGap’s platforms (Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.) for live virtual or in-person events and stakeholder activations
  • Grow BridgingTheGap’s community through lead generation and marketing conversion tactics
  • Research local, regional and global organizations on an ongoing basis to discover how BridgingTheGap can engage, partner or tap into their networks
  • Monitor and report on the status of the BridgingTheGap community—focusing on key performance indicators such as growth, retention, churn rate and overall member satisfaction
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest UX/UI and digital marketing trends and best practices to drive new member conversions and improve community engagement
  • Support the BridgingTheGap community as they participate in virtual and in-person programming (i.e. workshops, fireside chats, interactive panels, breakout sessions, festivals, etc.)
  • Create, maintain and optimize community forms (i.e. applications, session proposals, speaker details, feedback, etc.) for data collection
  • Maintain community-related spreadsheets and other collected information for present and future utilization
  • Research global affairs and key decision-makers to assist BridgingTheGap with relationship management (i.e. speaker/guest backgrounds, LinkedIn administration) as well as insights for networking
  • Define BridgingTheGap’s member personas and create compelling community content to attract, engage and retain our target audiences
  • Work closely with the BridgingTheGap team to strategize and gather feedback, as well as contribute to larger organizational goals
QualificationsRequirements
  • Strong communication skills, ensuring the ongoing and transparent flow of communication with fellow team members and external stakeholders regarding project status updates, questions and feedback
  • Strong copywriting, proofreading and self-editing skills as well as impeccable grammar
  • Proven experience drafting short-form content and emails to engage a global community on an ongoing basis
  • Proven expertise in managing and engaging an established community across platforms and ensuring a quality member experience
  • Excellent people skills and the ability to form meaningful connections with a variety of high-level stakeholders around the world
  • Impeccable organizational skills while also able to adjust, pivot and creatively problem-solve independently
  • Incredible attention-to-detail—rarely do errors or omissions happen
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and easily manage multiple projects at the same time without getting overwhelmed
  • Ability to manage own time and perform under tight deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Always take initiative and be solution-oriented
  • Proven project management skills, including the ability to ensure conversations move forward and meeting outcomes happen
  • Proven experience in conducting research, sorting information and preparing content for current or future business needs, presentations and partner relations
  • Proven experience using HubSpot, Klaviyo, and/or other marketing software to create engaging, creative email campaigns with a cohesive brand style
  • Effectively work both independently and as part of a team, based on project needs

  • Receptive to constructive feedback from multiple sources as well as an enthusiasm to apply it and continuously improve output
