MTDs regional brands include Troy-Bilt.We are currently looking for a Demand Expeditor (1year contract) who is Responsible for analyzing reports and purchasing supplies and products in response to consumer demands. Expedite materials and parts between production areas according to forecasts.The How

  • Provide delivery dates to service and update the system, expedites as required
  • Execute orders to support Forecast Analysis, Manufacturing requirements utilizing MRP Purchase Recommendations and Safety Stock requirements
  • Order types include the following MISL Interplant x-Orders to our manufacturing facilities, Interplant Transfer Orders in COM to our Internal Distribution Facilities and Purchase Order Releases to our outside suppliers
  • Develop and maintain Capacity Plans Manufactured Items to support Dealer and Retail Customer forecast requirements. Create and maintain weekly production schedules to ensure smooth production flow for the Warehouse Supervisor and assembly cells, while striving to achieve maximum fill rate and minimize/reduce excess and non-active inventory levels
  • Handle daily requirements during vacation/time off. Provide back up to the Analyst as assigned by the Department Manager
  • Involved in Manufacturing Orders and Daily Schedule process as required to support the Demand Analyst/Manager
  • Process inventory month end and associated reporting; making adjustments as required
  • Review daily reports for shortages and changes and responds accordingly
What we need
  • Undergraduate degree or diploma in Business or related field an asset
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
  • Experience working in a demand or logistics role with strong scheduling and reporting skills
  • Strong Excel, Powerpoint, MS teams required
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
