Our services include commercial asphalt paving and civil contracting specializing in commercial / industrial / institutional parking lots, parking lot maintenance and repairs, roadway repairs, asphalt trails and larger residential rural laneways. Our brand is distinguished by our attention to detail and schedules, our commitment to our employees and clients, and our tradition of quality and integrity since 1956 while operating in and amongst the local and southwestern Ontario communitiesWe are currently hiring for growth in 2022 and require additional members to join our dedicated team.Equipment Operator/LabourerYour job is to provide operate skidsteers, excavators and mini excavators along with providing the physical labour and skills required to carry out many different tasks. You will be asked to removed old asphalt, install and grade gravel. You also may load and unload construction materials and move materials around in work areas using equipment; assist in levelling various materials using rakes and shovels; perform clean up duties; remove rubble and garbage at construction sites; erect and dismantle traffic delineators and signs, direct traffic at or near construction sites and perform other activities as directed. You must be physically fit, hardworking, and able to follow instructions quickly and efficiently. You must quickly learn to follow safety precautions, and become handy with many kinds of tools and equipment. You may work on different crews doing various jobs, so having skills in a number of areas, as well as being able to work cooperatively in a team environment, is important. Experience is an asset but not mandatory for right individual. Valid Class G drivers licence with clean driver’s abstract. Punctual and dependable. Flexible and willing to work overtime when necessary.
